About Dr. Ashish Dey
Dr. Ashish Dey is an alumni of Grants medical college, Mumbai which is one of the oldest and most renowned medical colleges in India. After completing his M.S. in General Surgery in 2008, he did his fellowship in Laparoscopic and Bariatric surgery in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He has had many years of experience as a Consultant Surgeon with special interest in Bariatric and colorectal Surgery.
Dr. Ashish Dey has worked under the pioneers of laparoscopic surgery during his residency as well as his fellowship. He has performed several thousand of laparoscopic surgeries with almost 100% success rate on local as well as overseas patients till date.
He is currently working in Sir Ganga Ram Hospital which is among the top Obesity Surgery Centers in India. His expertise in bariatric surgery stems from his keen interest in these surgeries. His other areas of interest is in minimal access colorectal surgeries. Apart from these specialized surgeries, the other most commonly performed surgeries are gall bladder and hernia surgeries in which he has had almost a decade of laparoscopic experience.
